About Us

Dr. Dexter L. Howard founded Restore Community Development Corporation (CDC) in 2008.  The mission is to provide empowerment, resources, training, and community advocacy that will benefit the social and economic welfare of underserved families, the elderly, youth, small businesses, and the community. 

Dr. Howard was named one of Northwest Arkansas’ top 40 leaders under the age of 40 and he has received numerous other community distinction awards for his community service initiatives.  Dr. Howard has dispersed his knowledge, wisdom, and expertise in leadership to various agencies such as the University of Arkansas Alumni Association and the United Way as a member of their board of directors. 

Dr. Howard received a Bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas in Communications and he obtained a Doctoral Degree from Minnesota’s Graduate School of Theology.  

Dr. Howard is married to Genette Howard who serves as the Executive Director of Restore CDC.  Mrs. Howard received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.   

Dr. and Mrs. Howard are the proud and loving parents of six daughters (Alexa, Bethany, Celeste, Destiny, Eden, and Faith).
